Hunger: A Cause of Global Instability Blog Post

Ertharin Cousin delivered the final Global Futures lecture of the semester on the topic of global security.

Her remarks explored the vicious cycle of conflict, climate change, and hunger—with examples from the World Food Programme's work to provide immediate life-saving humanitarian assistance as well as longer-term solutions to hunger and malnutrition.  A key excerpt from her lecture is posted below.

Managing Security for a New World Blog Post

Chuck Hagel, former U.S. secretary of defense, continued Georgetown's semester-long conversation on global security with his lecture on "The Global Future of Security."
