Jim Yong Kim, president of the World Bank Group, returned to Georgetown March 18 to deliver a second lecture as part of a semester-long conversation on “The Global Future of Development” convened by Georgetown’s new Global Futures Initiative.
Kim explained why climate change is a poverty issue and described key elements of an economic transformation plan to keep the rise in global temperatures below two degrees Celsius.
