A Conversation on Governance, Development, and Africa

Tony Blair, former prime minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, spoke at Georgetown as part of a semester-long conversation on “The Global Future of Development” convened by the university’s Global Futures Initiative.

Blair addressed his long-term vision for development – including the biggest changes in development since his time in public office – in a moderated conversation with Steven Radelet, director of the School of Foreign Service’s Global Human Development Program.

The event took place Thursday, April 23 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
